June 5, Wednesday - The Tokyo Museum, and then Baseball vsn1

A lot!

we travelled (on the subway, as in almost all cases (or did we walk? it wasn't that far...) to the grounds of the Tokyo National Museum.

They had lots of ancient art, ceramics, paintings and costumes/armor.

Very worthwhile visit. Then Liana, Brandon and Robin went off to the Asakusa area and the Senso-ji temple...she may have some pictures for me.

Then, for me, on to the Tokyo Dome, to the the Yomiuri Giants (the home team) against the (someplace) Marines.

One interesting aspect - the fans in the outfield are divided by team, and the section of team A chants, sings, and yells in complete unison while their team is up. Then when team B comes up, THEIR thousands of fans start chanting etc. See the video.

Another thing different from Wrigley - instead of old grumpy men, the beer and hotdog vendors are all young women, smiling like crazy people (see other video)
